At Summer House, the Music and Memory program helps reconnect people with songs that have been meaningful to them—and the results can be dramatic. We see how PARO, a robotic seal, creates a therapeutic, care-based connection for residents. The It’s Never Too Late (iN2L) technology, a 70-inch touchscreen for engagement, games, puzzles, music, art, exercise, virtual reality, entertainment, and other offerings, supports social interaction, intellectual stimulation and physical engagement. And through Skype, we nurture bonds with family and friends outside the community.
